About me
Prior to becoming an integrative counsellor, I coached sport for 25 years to individuals from 13 to 80 years old. It was during this time that I developed a passion for listening closely to people and being flexible in the way that I communicated allowing individuals to learn new skills at their own pace. I decided to take my love of human connection and listening further. My first step was to join the Samaritans; the training was amazing and this led me to further studies to become a qualified counsellor.

As part of my counselling journey I have worked with several charities, supporting individuals that have experienced bereavement and grief, caring for others, loss of self and trauma. I have also worked with individuals who have survived domestic and sexual abuse, expanding my experience of working with trauma. I have experience supporting vulnerable people from all walks of life across the UK and Europe with ages ranging from 13 upwards. I now work with a homeless charity to support individuals in a time of change in their lives.

I am a registered member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) and I adhere to their guidelines and ethical framework. I offer counselling sessions throughout the week both remotely on Zoom and on the telephone.

I am able to provide a safe non-judgmental and supportive environment in a space that suits your needs. I offer my clients empathy, autonomy, confidentiality, and authenticity. We can work long or short-term.
“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.” Carl Rogers
